			finished 15 British Marines, 10 Governor's Mounted Guard, some
			cannibals, several ships, a stack of Eureka male and female pirates,
			and pirate artillerists (both male and female).  I can use 
			some of my Mexican-American War terrain for this period as

				a Celtic Cariot, 19 Greeks (with pikes), and 30 Romans (with 
				gladius and pilum).</figures>

			Bridge Over Devil's Twisted Bloody Rocky Sunken Angled Moose-Nose 
			Run Near the Wheat Field."  This scenario will have everything 
			you ever heard of in a Civil War battle: a stone bridge, a stone 
			wall, a peach orchard, a wheat field, a sunken road, a rocky 
			hill, and even an ironclad that has run aground.</figures>

    <figures>I built my first British line battalion in 1981.  I now 
		  have a corps (25 or so battalions of British infantry with 
			several batteries and cavalry regiments), Davout's 1806 III 
			corps (including the three regiments of cavalry and the guns but 
			minus the one Leger regiment), most of Lannes' 1806 V corps 
			(minus the Leger and Hussar regiments), and a large Prussian 
			corps (with lots of cavalry and artillery).  The Prussian corps 
			I purchased from a guy I found in MWAN.  These are my only 
			figures I did not paint myself, and the organization is curious.  
			Though this project will probably never end, I currently have 
			several Leger regiments, some French Hussar regiments, and a few 
			British/KGL/Hanoverian battalions to paint.  If MiniFigs become 
			available again, my next army will probably be an 1809 Austrian 
			corps or a corps with one regiment each of France's German and 
	    Italian allies.</figures>

			Hobbit cavalry and Roomans (Kangaroo looking lizard things that 
			Ral Partha made one pose of).  I have no intent to add to (or 
			delete from) this collection.  I used to use a simple set of 
			rules that I wrote in high school for these battles, but they 
			are pretty kludgey by today's standards.  Several old friends 
			are still using them.</figures>

			platoon (1939), a Polish platoon (1939), two Polish cavalry 
			squads (1939), an Italian platoon (European theater), two 
			American platoons (ETO), a Japanese platoon, about two Russian 
			platoons (including a squad of naval infantry), two German 
			platoons, a platoon of Fallshirmjaegers, an under-strength 
			platoon of SS, and a squad of American engineers (PTO).  I also 
			have 50 or so vehicles, including French, Polish, Dutch, German (mostly 
			early war, but I have a few Panthers, Hetzers, and Tigers), 
			Russian (including the 5-turret T-35), British, and American.  
			Of late, I have concentrated most on early war figures and 
			vehicles, because, at the skirmish level, they make the best 
			games.   Most of my figures are Platoon 20, Drew's Militia, or 
			FAA.  My purchasing and painting in this area has slowed.  I am 
			looking for some specific figures (Belgians, German assault 
			engineers for Eban Emael, a few more Japs, some PTO Americans, 
			German SS on horseback, more civilians and partisans (I have 
			about 40 now), Chinese, and Russians in winter dress)) some 
			specific vehicles (early-war French armored cars, about anything 
			Polish (but mostly Vickers type E tanks and TK and TKS 
			tankettes), Russian armored cars, and Early British equipment.  
			I have four Horsa gliders painted, and I have a C-47 and a 
			couple of WACO gliders still in kit form.</figures>

			'Round the Flag, and that is still a good, solid set of rules, 
			but no one plays them any more.  I will probably do this project 
			in 15mm or 6mm.  I have been looking for a good 6mm project, and 
			the ACW is a viable candidate.</figures>

      <figures>I started thinking about this a while back, but it recently moved to
			the front burner during a lunch with Scott Fisher.  I want the 
			rules to be very fast.  They use a card-based mechanic inspired by 
			Kurt Schlegel's unique, unpublished Fire at Will system.  The game
			has no turns; you play cards as fast as you like, then make a morale
			check, draw more cards, and keep going.  Movement and firing information
			is on the cards in your hand, so there are no separate chart cards.
			In several play tests, it has proven quick and stressful -- just what
			I was looking for.  Of course, this ignores the finesse game of 
			maneuvering into position and skulking neary the shoreline to ambush
			the enemy, but that is not the part of coastal forces actions I wanted
			to recreate in these rules.</figures>

      <figures>I have been wanting to have a large-scale WWII project for quite some
			time.  I have been working on rules for this period and scale on and
			off for over six years.  Finally, in collaboration with Chris Palmer
			and Dave Wood, I have developed the Look, Sarge, No Charts TM 
			system that requires No chart chards.  In support of this, I have 
			completed almost four French infantry battalions, and ad hoc French
			tank company, three German infantry battalions, and ad hoc German
			tank battalion, an under-strenght British infantry battalion, and
			a reinforced American mechanized infantry company.  Except for the 
			Americans, all are for gaming France 1940.  The Americans were used
			to illustrate the rules.  All of the figures are from MiniFigs.
			Since no one makes Poland 1939 in 12mm, I have recently begun 
			working on Russia in 1941.</figures>
