This was a project that Mike Miller and I worked on while I was going to school at Texas A&M University. Mike and I were looking for a way to introduce the largely-GW-addicted gamers in the area to the joys of historical miniatures. At a Historicon we saw the neat 15mm-scale ironclad models by Merrimack Miniatures. Mike and I thought these would make a very interesting little game. Over time, the rules became something that people in other clubs enjoyed, so we decided to have some printed up for sale.
