{"id":2125,"date":"2013-08-28T09:52:18","date_gmt":"2013-08-28T09:52:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/?p=2125"},"modified":"2013-08-28T09:52:18","modified_gmt":"2013-08-28T09:52:18","slug":"warcon-at-fuson-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bucksurdu.com\/bucksblog\/2013\/08\/28\/warcon-at-fuson-farm\/","title":{"rendered":"WarCON at Fuson Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_2123\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2123\" style=\"width: 393px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1928.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-2123    \" title=\"IMGP1928\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1928.jpg\" alt=\"Early in the battle of La Rothier\" width=\"393\" height=\"261\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2123\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Early in the battle of La Rothier<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Last weekend, Dave, Chris, and I travelled to War Horse Farm in Gettysburg to run some games for Sam Fuson and folks from his work. \u00a0There were 16 gamers, plus the three GMs, including several kids. \u00a0We ran two morning games and two afternoon games.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2119\" title=\"IMGP1935\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1935-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<div>In the morning, Chris ran his Saving Queen Victoria GASLIGHT game involving British trying rescue the Queen from the Prussians, who are hiding in a ghost town in the Wild West.<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1949.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2120\" title=\"IMGP1949\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1949-198x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, Chris ran his Nijmegen WWII <em>Look, Sarge, No Charts<\/em> game that he will be running at Fall In.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1932.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2122\" title=\"IMGP1932\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1932-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the morning, Dave helped me run a <em>Fate of Battle<\/em> game from our upcoming 1814 Campaign book. \u00a0This was also a play test for Fall In. \u00a0The scenario was really quite good, and the players had an excellent time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1943.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2118\" title=\"IMGP1943\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1943-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon I ran a multi-sided GASLIGHT undersea game.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1938.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2121\" title=\"IMGP1938\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1938-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Various international factions were competing to get secrets off of the Nautilus, which had recently been discovered. \u00a0The native denizens, the local fauna, and Nemo&#8217;s crew had other plans.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1946.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2116\" title=\"IMGP1946\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1946-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The game was a good time and a nice, light change of pace after the more serious, four hour Napoleonic game.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1941.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2117\" title=\"IMGP1941\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMGP1941-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was also the first time I had had a chance to get these underwater figures on the table.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, I think only Dave and the weird fish were able to accomplish their mission &#8212;
