like Orcs, insect men, fire-spitting salamanders, goblins, and others, attempting to capture the tower from the &#8220;good&#8221; guys, composed of humans, dwarves, elves, and Roomans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_2997.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-5730\" title=\"IMG_2997\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_2997.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"266\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">You can see a lot of cards around the table. \u00a0Each unit in Mark&#8217;s game has a card with all its attributes, characteristics, and special abilities. \u00a0Mark wasn&#8217;t sure how many players we would have, so he planned for eight. \u00a0With only four players, we had a lot of figures to control, and it was hard to find the right card. \u00a0When players have the right number of units, I think managing the cards would be easier.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5727\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5727\" style=\"width: 384px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_29981.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5727 \" title=\"IMG_2998\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_29981.jpg\" alt=\"Roomans in the defense\" width=\"384\" height=\"152\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5727\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Roomans in the defense<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In this picture you can see Mark&#8217;s Roomans (with reddish fur) and my Roomans (in green) preparing to defend a strong position against the bad guys. \u00a0Both Dave and Eric sent forces to attack this position. \u00a0I managed to fend off the succubus and the first fire-breathing salamander, but by the end of the game, Eric&#8217;s second salamander was approach and his Elite Death Guard Cavalry was about to get behind me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_2999.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5728\" title=\"IMG_2999\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_2999.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5725\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5725\" style=\"width: 384px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_3001.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5725\" title=\"IMG_3001\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_3001.jpg\" alt=\"Don's dwarves defending a series of cheveaux de fris\" width=\"384\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5725\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Don&#039;s dwarves defending a series of cheveaux de fris<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There are a few things that can be done to streamline and improve the rules, but it went pretty well as a first test.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5724\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5724\" style=\"width: 384px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_3002.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5724\" title=\"IMG_3002\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_3002.jpg\" alt=\"My largely ineffective &quot;automatic&quot;
