rather than either hanging back to create a defensive perimeter or going either right or left to attempt to avoid some of the Moros.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5904\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5904\" style=\"width: 491px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3034.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5904  \" title=\"IMG_3034\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3034-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Moros advancing toward the rocky outcropping\" width=\"491\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5904\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Moros advancing toward the rocky outcropping<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Americans were caught in the middle of the table. \u00a0Because of this, and the constricted terrain, the Americans were unable to take advantage of their firepower. \u00a0The Moros were able to close. \u00a0Their melee attribute was very high, so once they closed into hand-to-hand, the Moros won the majority of the firefights.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5906\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5906\" style=\"width: 491px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3035.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5906  \" title=\"IMG_3035\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3035-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"The scrum begins to develop in the center of the table\" width=\"491\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5906\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The scrum begins to develop in the center of the table<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>An American team fired a shot into the rocky outcropping in which the overall Moro leader had taken position. \u00a0The Americans got a hit, and an incapacitation result, despite the cover provided by the rocks. \u00a0In Combat Patrol(TM), once you hit a target (by drawing a card and consulting the hit indicator section), you then draw a second card to determine which figure is hit, how severely, and whether cover protected the figure. \u00a0The card drawn had no cover icons, so the Moro leader was incapacitated.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5907\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5907\" style=\"width: 491px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3036.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5907  \" title=\"IMG_3036\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3036-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Americans trying to establish a defensive perimeter as they are beset from all sides\" width=\"491\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5907\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Americans trying to establish a defensive perimeter as they are beset from all sides<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With the overall leader gone, all of the subordinate Moro units were pinned. \u00a0The Activation Deck has black and red cards in it. \u00a0When a unit is pinned, it can only activate on the black cards. \u00a0This severely limited the Moros for a couple of turns, during which the Americans were able to regroup and establish a perimeter. \u00a0During this time, the Americans also had some good card draws in hand-to-hand combat. \u00a0The Americans, who began the game outnumbered two-to-one, were beginning to redress a lopsided loss exchange ratio, but not in time. \u00a0The Moros had seized the mule train and were well on their way off the table with it when we called the game a Moro victory.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5908\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5908\" style=\"width: 491px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3037.jpg\" class=\"broken_link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5908  \" title=\"IMG_3037\" src=\"http:\/\/bucksurdu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3037-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Chaos in the Philippines\" width=\"491\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5908\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chaos in the Philippines<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We used the draft Japanese Morale from the under-develoment supplement to reflect the fanatical nature of the Moros. \u00a0I also gave them a Melee attribute of four, compared to the Americans&#8217;
